Manipulate scientific data

Nearly 5000 exoplanets have been discovered since the first one in 1995. Many of these planets are very well constrained, allowing us to better understand many mysteries, such as the formation of planets for example.

In order to familiarize yourself with the data that scientists use, the ideal is to manipulate them yourself using a scatter and a histogram plots. The plots are interactive so play with real scientific data!

The source dataset is the online astronomical exoplanet and stellar catalog from the European Exoplanet website : Exoplanet.eu. The archive is dedicated to collecting and making available large public datasets involved in the research and characterization of extra-solar planets and their host stars.
